If any of these players would justify a first-round pick some 12 years later, Darren Sproles would be one of two, seeing as how he's one of only two backs still active.

Through 11 professional seasons and 168 games, the 5'6" scat back has 7,888 yards from scrimmage and a total of 52 touchdowns. His best season took place in his first year with the New Orleans Saints, for whom he spent three years with. In 2011, the veteran racked up 1,313 scrimmage yards -- 710 receiving and 603 rushing -- and 9 touchdowns on his way to an AV of 13.

Across three teams and what seems like two eras, Sproles has played in 10 playoff games and has been to three Pro Bowls in his potential Hall of Fame career.
