3. Ronnie Brown

CarAV: 41

Out of Auburn, Ronnie Brown was the top running back and second overall pick in the draft. Much was expected from him in that capacity -- and for a handful of years, he lived up to those expectations.

From 2005 to 2008, Brown put up an AV of 7 or greater for the Miami Dolphins by rushing for at least 991 yards and 5 total touchdowns each year. The best of them was 2008, in which he rushed for 10 touchdowns on 4.3 yards per carry, leading to an AV of 9.

Brown never had one big season, yet he was a consistent contributor for the early part of his career. After 2008, the highest AV he ever secured was 5, and he never again compiled a 1,000-yard season from scrimmage.
