The Baltimore Ravens are usually spot-on with their drafts, but they whiffed on their biggest position of need: wide receiver. Steve Smith and Kamar Aiken both left this offseason, and the Ravens selected no replacements. It’s baffling. Not a single tight end was added to this group, either; they have a logjam there, but no one is making an impact at the current moment. The Ravens always like adding secondary pieces, and while cornerback Marlon Humphrey is one of the better players in the draft, it didn’t seem like they needed to draft a cornerback that highly.

They nailed the reboot of their front-seven, however; after trading Jernigan, they needed to add another strong lineman and they got one in versatile Chris Wormley. He’ll slot in at 5-technique end right away. Tyus Bowser and Tim Williams are exactly the one-two punch this pass-rush needed to get back to vintage new millennium Ravens attacking football. Guards Nico Siragusa and Jermaine Eluemunor are great late value picks for a laggard rushing attack.
