Fantasy Football: 5 Players With Difficult Playoff Schedules

The Carolina D/ST is currently being drafted ninth among defenses.

Our Brandon Gdula found that Carolina is set to face the toughest regular schedule based on opposing offenses. This schedule remains a problem during the fantasy playoffs.

In Week 14 to Week 16, the Panthers face the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Vikings' offense is unlikely to scare you, but you know you aren't going to start the Panthers defense versus Aaron Rodgers.

The Week 16 division showdown against Tampa Bay isn't something you should necessarily avoid, but you probably shouldn't be rolling with Carolina in that spot either. I would recommend the Tennessee D/ST during championship week.

We project the Panthers to finish 12th among fantasy defenses this season. While they should see some favorable matchups here and there, the season as a whole looks like it will be a struggle and holding them through the playoffs probably won't pay off.
