Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys

As is the case with Bell, I know you won't avoid drafting Ezekiel Elliott because his playoff schedule gets dicey.

Our Aaron Watson found that the Dallas Cowboys have the second toughest playoff schedule for running backs in 2017. In Week 14 through Week 16, they go up against the New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, and Seattle Seahawks.

While the matchup versus the Raiders is nothing to be afraid of, the other two are worrisome. The Giants and the Seahawks both ranked in the top three among rush defenses last season, per our metrics.

This is a small sample size, but Zeke did struggle in both games versus the Giants last season.

We project Elliott to finish third among running backs, and aside from a possible looming suspension, he is worth targeting. If you are looking to avoid Zeke altogether, you may be interested in these running backs, guys whom we project to do well in later rounds.
