The Giants Have Allowed 5 Touchdowns to Opposing Tight Ends

Through four games, the New York Giants have already given up touchdown receptions to five different tight ends. They are the only team to allow a tight end touchdown in each game so far, and they rank 31st in both receptions (7.3) and receiving yards (77.3) allowed per game to tight ends.

Their 14.73 fantasy points allowed per game is 2.03 more than any other team is allowing to the position. It's also 7.15 more fantasy points per game than the Giants gave up to tight ends last season. They struggled against tight ends last season too, allowing the 4th-most yards of any team, but only allowed 4 touchdowns.

The Giants have not been able to stop tight ends inside the red zone this year, with 4 of the 5 tight end touchdowns scored against them coming from inside the 20-yard line.

Unfortunately, it won't be easy to pick on the Giants defense in fantasy football in Week 5, since the San Diego Chargers utilize two tight ends. Through the first three games, Antonio Gates has seen one more red zone target than teammate Hunter Henry, but both of them will be worth GPP consideration in daily games this week due to their high touchdown upside.
