Marqise Lee, Jacksonville Jaguars

Figuring out the Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receivers could be the key to unlocking some value in 2018. There are a lot intriguing options on the depth chart, but Marqise Lee stands out the most.

In the first preseason game, Lee lead all Jacksonville receivers in first team snaps played with Blake Bortles, as noted by Graham Barfield.

Lee running as the Jags number-one receiving option should be no surprise. If we take a look back at 2017, he had a six-game stretch (Week 9 to Week 14, prior to an ankle injury that cost him the rest of the regular season), where he was clearly Bortles favorite target. He played 85.8% of the team's offensive snaps, saw 23.4% of the targets and 26.3% of the red zone targets in that stretch.

Those six weeks saw him score all three of his regular season touchdowns, while averaging 8.3 targets per game.

We have seen Lee's Reception NEP per target increase each year he has played with Bortles (2014 to 2017), and he finished in the top-25 in Reception NEP per target among wideouts with 50-plus receptions in 2017.

Our projections have Lee seeing 105.7 targets, 60.2 receptions, 815.8 receiving yards and 4.3 touchdowns. Getting a guy who is this likely to be his team's top receiver for a cost this low feels like stealing candy from a baby.

Lee finished as the WR40 in PPR leagues in 2017 and the WR42 in 2016. If he continues down the path of being Bortles' number-one target, he could blow away his WR51 ADP. - Adam Nessel
