AFC West

Denver Broncos - Freeman is Spelled L-I-N-D-S-A-Y

Quarterback: Case Keenum (100%)

Running Backs: Phillip Lindsay (59%), Royce Freeman (31%), Devontae Booker (10%)

Wide Receivers: Emmanuel Sanders (73%), Demaryius Thomas (69%), Courtland Sutton (68%), Tim Patrick (27%)

Tight Ends: Jeff Heuerman (81%), Matt LaCosse (31%)

Royce Freeman chose the wrong time to sprain his ankle. Philip Lindsay had arguably the best game of his young career against the Arizona Cardinals, rushing 14 times for 90 yards and a score. While Freeman is apparently day-to-day, it would not be surprising to see him rested against the Kansas City Chiefs, given Lindsay's incendiary running this year. Lindsay's 5.8 yards per attempt ranks third in the league behind only Matt Breida and Kerryon Johnson. There is a reason Terrell Davis let Lindsay don the #30. He looks like he could be TD Version 2.0.

Kansas City Chiefs - Backups Get Some Run

Quarterback: Patrick Mahomes (100%)

Running Backs: Kareem Hunt (66%), Spencer Ware (31%)

Wide Receivers: Sammy Watkins (86%), Tyreek Hill (74%), Chris Conley (66%), Demarcus Robinson (16%)

Tight Ends: Travis Kelce (86%), Demetrius Harris (50%)

Honestly. What more is there to say about this offense? The Chiefs were so thoroughly dominant this week that it was hard to find flaws in their game. Sammy Watkins and Tyreek Hill saw only 86% and 74% of the team's snaps, respectively, both season lows. Why would they be higher? The game was basically over at halftime. Both should see full workloads this week in what should be a much tougher matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Los Angeles Chargers - The Ekeler Show

Quarterback: Philip Rivers (88%), Geno Smith (12%)

Running Backs: Austin Ekeler (95%)

Wide Receivers: Keenan Allen (91%), Tyrell Williams (82%), Mike Williams (68%), Travis Benjamin (11%)

Tight Ends: Virgil Green (8073), Antonio Gates (30%), Sean Culkin (25%)

If you didn't wake up early enough, then you might have gotten a big fat zero next to Melvin Gordon in your lineup this week. Gordon tried warming up, but the decision was made to hold him out due to a hamstring injury. In his stead, Austin Ekeler was on the field for 95% of the Los Angeles Chargers' offensive snaps. Gordon's top snap percentage this year is 77%. That comment isn't to show that Ekeler is the better player, but rather to highlight the faith the Chargers have in their backup. Gordon will have two weeks to recover as the Chargers have a bye this week, but should he not get healthy, Ekeler will once again be ready to step in and control the backfield.
