Dallas Cowboys - Cooper Set to Shake Things Up

Quarterback: Dak Prescott (100%)

Running Back: Ezekiel Elliott (100%)

Wide Receivers: Michael Gallup (85%), Allen Hurns (82%), Cole Beasley (80%), Deonte Thompson (23%)

Tight Ends: Geoff Swaim (71%), Dalton Schultz (29%), Blake Jarwin (14%)

The most interesting snap count-related nugget on the Dallas Cowboys this week has nothing to do with their loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday. The team--looking to spark its bottom-five passing offense--traded for Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper. Cooper, who has two 1,000-yard receiving seasons in his three full years in the league--should step in and instantly be the Cowboys' WR1. He's been boom-or-bust this year, but performing on the field would certainly be easier if he received targets on a regular basis. He had 21 targets in his two 100-yard games this year, but only 10 combined in his other four games. If he and Dak can get on the same page, this offense could take a major jump forward.

New York Giants - Fowler Rising, Not Worth Adding

Tight Ends: Evan Engram (81%), Rhett Ellison (50%), Scott Simonson (17%)

Bennie Fowler was on the field for a considerable 55% of the New York Giants' snaps on Monday night. He could have been on the field for 100% and still not made a difference, however. The lackluster offense was funneled through the Giants' big three, and any attempt by players outside of that trio (save for maybe Evan Engram) are going to have a tough time making an impact. Despite this team's stars, the offense is predictable and there is little room for others in the mix.

Philadelphia Eagles - Alshon Sets Season High

Quarterback: Carson Wentz (100%)

Running Backs: Wendell Smallwood (52%), Corey Clement (37%)

Wide Receivers: Alshon Jeffery (96%), Nelson Agholor (88%), Jordan Matthews (43%)

Tight Ends: Zach Ertz (97%), Dallas Goedert (55%)

Alshon Jeffery set a season-high by being on the field for 96% of the Eagles' offensive snaps this week. He made an immediate impact to this offense after returning from injury and has now caught seven passes or more in three out of his four games. His 0.86 Reception NEP per Target ranks 16th among wide receivers with at least 20 receptions this year, and his 13.7 standard points per game ranks sixth among all wideouts. You don't need me to tell you to put him in your lineup every week.

Washington Redskins - Harris Benefits Again from Injury

Quarterback: Alex Smith (100%)

Running Backs: Adrian Peterson (57%), Kapri Bibbs (38%), Samaje Perine (3%)

Wide Receivers: Josh Doctson (95%), Maurice Harris (60%), Brian Quick (52%), Michael Floyd (50%)

Tight Ends: Jordan Reed (68%), Vernon Davis (45%), Jeremy Sprinkle (32%)

With Jamison Crowder and Paul Richardson out, Maurice Harris was able to see the field for at least 60% of the Washington Redskins' snaps for the third week in a row. While this week's matchup against the Giants may not be too enticing, keep him in mind for Weeks 9 and 10 if those two are out for an extended period of time. The Skins face the Falcons and Bucs those two weeks, and those teams are both bottom-five against opposing wideouts in fantasy football this year. His playing time depends on the health of others, but he's worth keeping an eye on with those enticing matchups on the horizon.
