5. Cordarrelle Patterson Will Be a Top-10 Wide Receiver

By Billy Hepfinger

For proof that Cordarrelle Patterson has top-10 upside, one need look no further than his last four games in 2013. During the home stretch, the guy caught 15 passes for 215 yards and 3 touchdowns, plus another 129 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground.

After a debut season in which Patterson's fantasy production climbed steadily, an explosion like that is an indicator of big things to come. Per FantasyFootballCalculator.com, Patterson is coming off the fantasy draft board as the 19th wide receiver. But after that tremendous final month of his rookie season, combined with his well-documented prowess as a return man, his new offensive coordinator, his position atop the depth chart in Minnesota, his anticipated second-year bump, and the presence of a quarterback not named Christian Ponder, I predict that Cordarrelle Patterson will finish as a top-10 fantasy wide receiver in 2014. The upside is certainly there.
