Frank Gore, RB, San Francisco 49ers

Let's just turn the field around and look at Lynch's counterpart, shall we? Frank Gore has averaged just 13.5 touches per game over the past month, and has turned that into a paltry 4.25 fantasy points per game in that span. He's also fumbled the ball twice, and clearly is being phased out of the lead back role in San Francisco, having only achieved three receptions in that span as well. Rookie Carlos Hyde is the man to own in the 49ers' backfield going forward, though with the offensive ineptitude that has struck the Bay Area, I'm not so sure how much we should rely on either of them.

In addition, their Sunday opponent, the Seattle Seahawks, are limiting opposing backfields to an average of five fantasy points per week over the past three weeks, and they rank as the sixth-best unit by Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP in the NFL. Bench Gore if you've survived to this point; there's no upside.
