8 Big-Name Players Who Will Be Tough to Trust in Week 15

Giovani Bernard, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Here's a tougher one. The past three weeks have seen Giovani Bernard in a nearly even timeshare with rookie backfield-mate Jeremy Hill, but we all know about the explosive potential Bernard has on any given play. Now Bengals' head coach Hue Jackson has indicated that he wants to return to funneling the bulk of the workload through power back Hill; Bernard will function more as a scatback than anything else.

And yet, he's already been working this way, averaging just four points per week since his return from a hip injury. It's not that Giovani Bernard is limited in any way as a player, just that he doesn't have the skill set that a power run game covets in its primary back. I believe firmly that Bernard is unstartable this week except in deeper formats, especially going against a Cleveland rush defense that held the Bengals to just four running back points their last time out. The Browns rank just 17th in Adjusted Defensive rush NEP, but I think they have what it takes to stuff the Bengals - and Bernard - this week.
