Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Minnesota Vikings

Regardless of whether Charles Johnson suits up on Sunday afternoon, Teddy Bridgewater is in a rough spot playing at Denver. The Broncos are just a tad below the top-ranked Cardinals against the pass according to our numbers, and are the NFL leaders in total defense with 259 yards per game and passing defense with 176.3 yards per game. They also have forced six interceptions, second to the Cardinals.

Bridgewater hasn’t been so great, either. Among the 38 quarterbacks with at least 30 pass attempts, he ranks second-to-last with -9.16 Passing NEP, above only Jimmy Clausen. On a per-pass basis, Bridgewater has been better than only Brian Hoyer and Clausen. Looking at Success Rate, the percentage of pass attempts that go for a positive NEP, Bridgewater’s 36.3% clip is the worst in the league. We project Bridgewater for 186 passing yards, 0.77 touchdowns, and 1.08 interceptions.
