Tight Ends

High-Cost Option: Rob Gronkowski $7,600

We all remember how effective New England's LeGarrette Blount and Jonas Gray were able to churn up the yardage on the ground in their last three games against the Colts, but do you know how Rob Gronkowski fared during those three matches? His three stat lines -- 4-71-1, 7-137-2, and 5-64-2 -- are nearly video game-esque, as he's been lights out against the Indianapolis defenses in the past.

It's not really going out on a limb saying Gronk is a good play this week, but he's in a great matchup against a banged up secondary and should be a chalk play everywhere. The Colts have yet to face a tight end of Gronkowski's caliber this season as the rank fairly well against tight ends on the season. Gronk is an elite play this week and if he's able to produce like he has in the past against Indy, he'll hit value with ease.

Mid-Cost Option: Antonio Gates $4,600

A modest $400 increase following a 9-reception, 92-yard, 2-touchdown game? That's not too shabby at all, and it makes Antonio Gates a very affordable mid-cost option at the tight end position this week.

Gates picked up right where he left off last year as 2014's third overall fantasy tight end, and will look to keep this pace going in one of the weekend's highest scoring games. The Chargers may still not have Stevie Johnson this week and will likely need Gates to keep the chains moving if they want to stay with the Packers in this game. Green Bay has fared quite well against tight ends on the season, ranking in the middle of the pack and have limited opposing tight ends to just one score.

After limiting Gates to roughly 57% of the snaps last week, San Diego should go all out utilizing Gates this week if he didn't experience any setbacks. If the Packers force the Chargers into "catch-up" mode, Gates could do some real damage resulting in an even greater price increase in Week 7.

Low-Cost Option: Jordan Cameron $3,000

The Dolphins return from their bye week to take on the Titans, and a healthy Jordan Cameron could be an integral part of this offense. While the production (12 receptions) has yet to meet the volume (27 targets), Cameron faces a bottom-10 team as far as fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends.

Despite limiting Charles Clay last week, the Titans allowed Austin Seferian-Jenkins to catch 5 balls for over 100 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, and the Colts tight ends to combine for 7 catches and 83 yards in Week 3. We've seen Ryan Tannehill continuously looking Cameron's way, and with an extra week of practice to work on their timing, we may be able to see the results come to fruition in Week 6. At $3,000, the expectations aren't ridiculously lofty, and Cameron should be able to find his way to at least nine fantasy points.

GPP Wildcard: Zach Ertz $2,900

I like both Zach Ertz ($2,900) and Crockett Gillmore ($2,700) as potential lesser-owned wildcards this weekend, but with Gilmore's health in question, the nod goes to Ertz until any further updates come out. Ertz faces a New York Giants defense that has given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends on the season, and if recent history against the Giants/Eagles tells us anything, the tight ends should continue to perform well against New York.

Ertz's modest totals so far on the season -- 15 receptions on 26 targets for 164 yards and zero scores -- are far from pristine, but he's seeing a big difference in volume over teammate Brent Celek's 5-catch, 60-yard, 2-touchdown stat line on six targets. Looking at the stat lines against opposing tight ends playing against the Giants are a nice read for any Ertz truthers out there -- they've allowed a top-10 tight end performance each week this year.

After seeing the Eagles find their offensive rhythm last week, Ertz could hit value if he's able to get some red zone looks this week. Only Jordan Matthews has seen more red zone targets on the Eagles than Ertz, and if Ertz is able to connect with Bradford this week, he'll easily hit value on his cheap $2,900 price tag.
