Dorial Green-Beckham entered the NFL with a checkered personal history. That led him to transfer colleges and sit out his final year due to restrictions of the transfer from the University of Missouri to the University of Oklahama. The combination of character questions and lack of recent on-field inactivity depressed his draft stock in the 2015 NFL draft. But the Titans took a chance on him in the second round, and hardcore fantasy drafters have been waiting for him to emerge ever since. Why? Because DGB is a mammoth target, standing 6'5" and weighing 237 pounds to go with above average speed, clocking in with a 4.49-second 40-yard dash at the combine.

The Titans should never be confused with sporting a treasure trove of talent at the receiver position. Kendall Wright's a good possession receiver, but he's been fairly inefficient with a 0.58 Reception NEP per target this season -- not to mention he's currently out with an MCL sprain and his return is questionable for Week 10. Harry Douglas is 30 years old and has been even less efficient, registering a 0.43 Reception NEP per target. Conversely, through Week 8, Green-Beckham had accumulated a 0.92 Reception NEP per target, albeit on a limited sample size of 14 total targets.

Tennessee will likely continue to lean heavily on tight end Delanie Walker as a security blanket for Marcus Mariota, particularly during this time of coaching upheaval given Ken Whisenhunt's recent firing. But the increased involvement of Green-Beckham, who reeled in 5 catches for 77 yards on a team-high 10 targets in Week 9, is very encouraging. It's worth the effort to put out a flier on DGB to see if this trend continues.
