Like Garrett, Robby Anderson is a long-limbed college wideout with impressive measurables, and the former Temple Owl does come from a mid-major program after putting up solid-to-good numbers in college. How interesting of a prospect is he?

Robby Anderson didn’t get invited to the Combine, unlike Garrett, but his pro day numbers show up just as well as the aforementioned Garrett: at 6’3” and 193 pounds, he ran a 4.34 40 Yard Dash, had a 36.5” Vertical Jump, and a 10’8” Broad Jump, showing plus explosiveness. That is confirmed by his tape, where he uses his great length to make high-point catches and diving grabs. That said, he makes easy catches look hard with bad focus drops and has an extremely thin frame that will lead to concerns about durability.

Hopefully, offensive coordinator Chan Gailey can work some magic with him, as the New York Jets signed him after the draft. He’s in a good spot to learn if he makes the team, as Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are both great veteran talents to watch and examine. Behind them, though, is a big mass of talented but unproven wide receivers, such as Devin Smith, Quincy Enunwa, and Charone Peake -- another 2016 rookie. Anderson will have to make big strides quickly just to secure a roster spot on this team.
