1. Peyton Manning, 2013

Peyton Manning brought new meaning to "Rocky Mountain High, Colorado" in 2013, as he set NFL records for both passing yards and touchdowns on his way to the highest Passing Net Expected Points total in history: 278.52. It was 19.12 points higher than Tom Brady's 2007 total.

Manning spread the wealth in 2013, as Wes Welker, Eric Decker, Julius Thomas and Demaryius Thomas all caught at least 10 touchdowns. Thomas had a ridiculous year in particular, finishing with 1,430 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Manning completed 68.3 percent of his passes for a record 5,477 yards with an NFL record 55 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Manning's Passing NEP in 2013 was an amazing 102.95 points better than his closest competitor, Drew Brees.

The Broncos steamrolled their way to a 13-3 regular season record, but got blown out in the Super Bowl by Seattle, who defeated them 43-8. Manning threw for 280 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions in that game -- one of which was returned for a 69-yard touchdown by Malcolm Smith.
