8. Daunte Culpepper, 2004

Daunte Culpepper accumulated 191.15 Passing NEP in 2004, the eight-highest on record since 2000.

The Minnesota Vikings finished second in the NFC North at 8-8, which was good enough for a Wild Card berth that season. They defeated Green Bay to advance to the Divisional Round where they lost to Philadelphia.

Culpepper completed 69.2 percent of his passes, the 11th highest single-season percentage of all-time. He passed for 4,717 yards with 39 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. He was also second on the team with 406 rushing yards and scored an additional two touchdowns on the ground. Culpepper was quite the fantasy beast in 2004.

Culpepper spread the wealth that season: Jermaine Wiggins led the team with 71 receptions, Nate Burleson led the team with 1,006 yards, and Randy Moss led the team with 13 touchdowns.

Culpepper's 0.32 Passing NEP per drop back is tied for the eighth-highest total since 2000 among quarterbacks dropping back to pass at least 250 times in a season.
