Notes:

31. DeVante Parker - It’s a little unclear whether Parker’s first season in the NFL was a disappointment or success. The young’un out of Louisville missed eight games of his first season, but produced at a ridiculous Reception NEP per target rate. Only three other wideouts with at least 50 targets had a higher Reception NEP per target in 2015. With a potential explosion coming for the offense, due to head coach Adam Gase’s offensive wizardry, Parker is a prime candidate to take a step forward further in 2016.

34. Steve Smith - Smith had an incredible start to the 2015 season, ranking 27th in Reception NEP per target with a 0.78 rate in this category. Then he suffered what was deemed one of the first “double ruptures” of an Achilles’ tendon that a professional athlete has attempted to recover from, and now hopes to return for a swan song in 2016. He had an impressive showing last season, but this kind of injury can spell doom for offensive skill position players. Exercise caution.

36. Michael Floyd - One of the more enigmatic wide receivers in the fantasy sphere over the past few years, Floyd finally capitalized on his promise in 2015: his 0.88 Reception NEP per target ranked 10th among wide receivers, as did his 94.23 percent Reception Success Rate. Still, he saw just 89 targets as the Arizona Cardinals’ third wideout and was only able to rack up a 58.43 percent catch rate last year. He holds a ton of fantasy upside in any given week, but doesn’t have the volume to break into the top tier.

38. Torrey Smith - In games that Smith receives more than six targets, he has put up an average 11.14 standard fantasy points. In games with six or less, he averages 5.18 points. The only problem? Smith was targeted even six times in just three games in 2015, due to the inadequacy of the passing attack. That could change in 2016, however, with new head coach Chip Kelly in town.
