Every NFL Team's 2017 Draft Needs Based on Analytics
Seattle Seahawks
Top Needs: RB, IOL, OT, DT
The Seattle Seahawks have gone away from the ground-and-pound offensive model they had with running back Marshawn Lynch when they made their title runs and are now much more of a spread-out air attack team. Still, they need a ground presence, and Thomas Rawls led the worst one in the league by Total NEP per play this year.
The offensive line is no help ether; they were worst in Rushing Success Rate and sixth-highest in Sack NEP allowed. Center Justin Britt is fine, but the rest have to go.
The Seahawks’ defense will be improved by safety Earl Thomas's return in 2017, but they could use some help after just the 15th-best unit by Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. Defensive tackles Jarran Reed and Ahtyba Rubin were bad in the pass rush.
